The staff was ALWAYS available to assist and provide guidance. Additionally they are all passionate about teaching and making sure the students truly understand which made learning that much easier. The level documentation and reference material given is outstanding, haven't taken a course that even comes close.  

The staff does an amazing job with preparing students for life after the course. This include resume and LinkedIn prep as well as providing mock code interviews for students to begin to feel more comfortable with the new knowledge they have.

I attended SD back in 2020. I feel I got a thorough full stack education that prepared me well for my first software dev role. Amongst other things I learned, Java, Javascript, and SQL are so in demand on the market right now. The teachers are excellent and a great resource. This course is challenging and very worth the effort. If you're the kind of person that picks your education for the challenge and quality of the curriculum, Skill Distillery is the right choice. After reviewing many bootcamps, I chose Skill Distillery because of it's foundation in Java (a more challenging language than JavaScript), focus on back end development (I wanted to make things work more than I wanted to make a webpage look pretty), and its reputation for being a challenging course.

I made my first git commit just one year ago, marking the start of a dramatic change in my career path. It was really tough and there were many times I didn't think I would cut it as a developer, but with the help of my great instructors and colleagues, one year later I'm working in a cool industry on a cool project, and I'm stoked about what the future brings!

I got hired by Google as a software engineer after attending this bootcamp. Sure, I had to do some extra self-study to pass the interviews, but this school is the reason I was familiar enough with Java fundamentals to even get past the phone screen. Even after six months at the big G, my day-to-day work is still chock full of concepts that I learned at this school. In short, I cannot recommend Skill Distillery highly enough. Their curriculum is highly relevant to the industry. I could not have done it without them.

I'm going into my job confident in the skills that I learned at Skill Distillery, and confident that I now have a solid foundation as a developer and can teach myself anything that may be required of me in my new job.
